Hello,
I'm a system admin with very little experience with PBX and telecom work. This work was just thrown on me being the most technical person at the site, so please forgive me if my knowledge is less than adequate. I want to build a conference room line for a Polycom that is able to dial the outside world but not receive incoming calls. Is there a simple way to do that in CS1000 Element Manager? I have direct access to the Unified Call manager and switch. The previous telecom tech was using a Non DID for this purpose but we found the Non DID could not call certain 800, 877, and 855 numbers. So we built a normal DN and it resolved the issue. However, the DN gets disrupted if a user calls the line directly. I need to build a DN that would ignore or block all incoming calls. Any help would be much appreciated!
Mahalo,
Titus
