I was wondering if I can collect CDR info over IP on the CS1000.

Yes you can, but you have to use TM (Telephony Manager).

Or you can buy yourself a LAN to RS232 adapter, then all you need is a Static IP Address for the adapter

A PTY terminal will work too. I use PuttyTel (free) and open a text file.
