Just finished rebuilding a crashed 6.0 CoRes machine and have a question. In the UCM Element View I see the Linux Server and I also see Element Manager. Is that all I should see on a CoRes machine? Seems weird to not see the Call Server there but keep in mind it is CoRes.

Thanks

KC

I was curious myself. When I look in my UCM on a co-res system, I do not see a Call Server Element.

I did verify this with another site. All you see is 2 things. The server itself and the Element Manager. Just seemed odd because I usually don't do CoRes. But it worked just fine.

that is because when you add the call server element you add a VX WORKS CS when ites co-res its linux based

Remember if it doesn't work hit it harder

Login the callserver .
Load 117 and use command reg ucm sys .
by the way the system ask for ip where to register .
Use the elan ip
Then should you see the MGC and callserver .
Are all patches and SU allready loaded ?
