Was wondering if anyone knew what "CS is not CPP. Default port to DB2" means. It is happening on the MC-8(VGMC) console interface. As soon as it displays, the card resets. This is for a CS1000S
The entire message is:
Clean-up timer expired. Cool start.
0x21cf9750 (tOMM): CS is not CPP. Default port to DB2

And then it reboots. Is there any way to see log files as to why this might be happening or any ideas why it is happening?

Thanks
Mathew

Default port to DB2,, that may be the key, speculation only but daughter board two may not need to be the default port.. ? i can't help other then suggesting that you get a new gateway card on the way.. that looks more like a software issue but i'm thinking hardware, then software.. the timer that is used to clean open but unused files if timing out? my school books on that are very ambiguous at best.. i know ntps that seem to cause more questions then they answer are hard to believe.. maybe someone here can get you a little closer but i think new hardware would be a good place to start

Call Server is not a CPP type processor maybe?

It's only dialtone-VZ

could be that as well... either way i still think hardware.. or the dreaded call to nortel tech support.. 12 hours later you either get a reply from someone that can't help or someone that can't speak english... if your job requires you to instruct techs in english, either provide a translator or don't call me

CS1000S is definitly not a CPP processor but SSC!!

Is that VGMC board included in a Node configuration or is it stand alone?
Was it running first?
Which SW/FW version is loaded on it?
