Just purchased the Adobe CS2, and I am a bit confused on whether I can have it installed on a 2nd desktop computer and a laptop at the same time. The bit about software activation seems to indicate that you have to deactivate the sw on one computer, then activate it for the other desktop or laptop every time you want to change locations or go portable ??? Am I interperting this correctly?

Basically it calls for an install on 2 machines, simultaneusly. It does not allow for installation on more than two. If you want to have it on 3, you have to deactivate on one of the machines and activate it on another.

Groannnnnnnnnnnn. Activate simultaniously? The 2 desktops are in two different homes...Arrgh

Why is that a problem?

You simply get the software activated on both machines. i.e. you get permission from Adobe to use it.

It doesn't mean they have to actually be running on both machines at the same moment in time.
