Hi, I am configuring a Voip link on a CS1000 Rls 5.5 system but the D chanell is not going to active. Can someone say if this is a known Issue? I have this set up on a rls 3.0 and a 5.0. I Went through the whole rebuilding process but still the same.

Help

Is the sig server registered to the NRS? Tee d-channel won't go active until the endpoint is properly registered.

Both Endpoints are registered at gatekeper and ip address shows up. The only problem is that the D Chanell is not coming up.

wich type of voip link are you creating? H323 or SIP? have you enabled every option on the SS relating to the Voip Trunk?.
and also can you post the DCH configuration?

Can u check the node id have given in the rdb and ur ss node id is same?....Which is the protocol ur using for voip?...sip or h323 or.both

If you have health monitor checked in em and you cannot ping the gateway ip, the d channel will not come up. uncheck health monitor and see if it comes up.

Main things are is the Node/Zone in the VTRK RDB correct. Do the Sig servers in that node have SIP/H323 (which ever your using) set against them in the Node config. Does the LAN information in that Node config contain the correct Callserver IP. LD 117 and "stat ss" are you seeing the sig servers on the callserver. If all looks good try another save and transfer and reboot the lead sig server let it recover an register with the CS then reboot the rest of the elements in the IP Node.

Check what Wane described. I just ran into this.

It's only dialtone-VZ
