Crystal TopN Formula Problem

Trying to select the top N scores plus ties from a query. Please see thread767-1723005

This approach works well unless the top N scores are all the same and then it returns too many scores.


6.0
6.0
6.0
5.8
5.8

It should pick up only the 6.0 as the top 3. Instead it picks up all 5 scores.

Anyone see a flaw in the logic?

Thanks Skip. I am a new member and was not sure how to do this. I thought the issue was solved in the first thread and posted that it was. I did then post this same note as a reply to my original thread but thought it might just lay there.
