Anyone know how to run Crystal Report from Visual FoxPro

Bill Couture
You can use the Crystal Reports ActiveX control (CRYSTL32.OCX). That is, if you have the developers edition or better of Crystal Reports. Otherwise you could execute the runtime engine (CRPE32.DLL).

OK but can you be a bit more specific about the call.

Bill Couture
The section "Crystal Reports ActiveX Control" in the developers help (devlopr.hlp) for Crystal Reports is fairly detailed. Check it out.

The Seagate Support Site is also available. Searching on Foxpro returned 24 hits in the knowledgebase:

Foxpro Search URL:
<A HREF=" TARGET="_new"> on using the OCX in Visual Foxpro:
<A HREF=" TARGET="_new">

You can use Crystal Report ActiveX included in you form. However, you can use the properties to control the event like

.ReportTitle, .ReportFileName, .PrinterName, .PrinterPort
.PrinterCopies, .Destination, .Action

Finally, you must use a physical DBF for CRW in design time and insert the record in runtime.

Please use the CRW 7.0!

Thanks very much. Checked out the Foxtalk article it was really good.
