Crystal Reports XI - Repository Updating

Hi,

I am thinking of using a text object in the repository. I want to do this so that it is easy to manage any changes to the text object for all reports (about 150 reports).
If I update the text object, do I have to open up all the reports in order for this to work? Is there a way for the update to be 'pushed' to the reports?
If this is not the case then I would rather store the data in the database and just update the text in the DB.

Any thoughts?
