Crystal reports to PDF error 1

We are using crystal reports to create PDF's with a variable graphic.

This works fine until the PDF files get close to 100 pages (the actual number varies each time the report is run), then the PDF's are generated without any data.

THe formatting works fine (i.e. the gridlines for the tables etc are the just no actual data).

Any ideas?

Exporting issues are often addressed in Hotfixes/Service Packs, apply the latest and see if that gets rid of it:

If it doesn't, I use a freebie PDF generating program called CUTEPDF which installs as a printer driver, so you could just print to it, I've done many reports > 100 pages using it.

Hi

I have faced 2 issues while exporting to PDF. Some of the text at the right end in some line gets truncated. The text can be either static text or database text fields. Another issue was "Too many color Components" error while exporting to PDF. Crystal support suggested a patch. The patch removed the above 2 problems but gave a new issue .

The charcters in PDF, which is generated after applying the patch, is one point less than the font size in the Report. Also the characters in the PDf appears blurred and unreadable. I would like to know whether any of you have come across this issue.

Yes to both and have had to tolerate the reduced font size which was better than not being able to read the truncated text. With over 300 report objects in my application, manually resizing each was not something I wanted to tackle.
