We have an application written in Delphi which makes use of a Crystal Reports Viewer component and a number of underlying Crystal Report files (which we prime with information as fed through our system against the underlying database files).
We have recently moved over one of our client machines from Windows 9X to Windows XP and are now experiencing a problem when we try to print a report through the application.
The report previews fine but will not print to the local printer.
The operating system is Windows XP.
The printer (local) is a HP DeskJet 640C.
The version of Crystal Reports is 8.5
Any thoughts / advice / pointers would be greatly appreciated.
I'm hoping it's as simple as applying either a fix or finding a more appropriate printer driver - but currently I remain stumped.
Thanks in advance
Steve

I believe that I have had the same problem with different printers. The solution that worked for me was simply to pull the report up in the the viewer. Go to the margin of the report and right click the mouse. I would then select the "Print" menu item. The report would then print.

P.S. Sometimes when I pressed the "Print" button in the viewer, all I would get was a blank page with a thin black border and the words "Crystal Reports" in the bottom left corner. The right click option described above resolved this for me. Hope this helps.
