Crystal Reports Problem Group footer next blank page

Sorry ,

i hope that you can help me with this report . i Have done a report with crystal X1 release one . I have the details and a group footer . When the lines of the details finish at the bottom of the page the group footer apears in another blank page ( the group foooter has checked print at the bottom page) . I don't know how to solve it . I don't have "page after checked ". you can download the report with my problem in this page :

YOu need to sprress your report footer too.

By printing the Group Footer at bottom of page the Report footer has no where to go but on the next page.

thanks ian , but if you download the report you will see supressed the report footer and i have the same problem. you can download the report , you will see with the data saved and with the group footer in a next blank page. i think that the problem is that the report don't reserve this space for him in the first page ,and it reserves the space for the lines . i hope that you have understand me .

I cannot download as where I am does not allow it.

Not much you can do if details go to bottom of page, perhaps you can limit the number of details per page so at least the last page will have some detail info and not look so odd.

You can use a variable to count details and when it gets to a certain number force a page break.

What info is in the Group footer? Could you have some logic to show in Page footer instead and thus eliminate group footer?

i can't use a variable because i have a memofield(access) and it has in one registry different lines .

i must to have the info into the group footer .

You could use 'keep group together'. Right-click on a group section to find it.

I don't think it's a bug but bad luck.

If your details fill the page there will always be a blank page to follow, as Group footer can not fit on page.

yes Bad luck , Then there is no solution. If i want per page to have the details until the end of page and have the totals in the latest page with a text in the bottom of the page. How do I do?

Not sure what you mean by text in bottom of page.

What text and under what conditions do you want it to appear.

imaging . my problem .

first page :

group header
details lines( if the line go to the botoom page , it show another page)

second page :

group header
blank lines
group footer with totals and under 5 text lines. ( the group footer has checked print bottom of the page and keep together).

in the other side , if i put the totals and the 5 text lines into the page footer and i hide the group footer my problem is this .

group footer
details
hide page footer ( with totals etc and with the supress condition) "page number <> totalpagecount"

but in this case my problem is if the report has two pages , in the first page it has hidden the information but leaves a blank space.it's imposible suppress de page footer when it has information.

If totalpagecount = 2 then false else
page number <> totalpagecount

i want to supress the space from the first page footer , and i think that cyrstal denied this when thereare information inside .
