Crystal Reports - group tree 1

Is it possible to change the value displayed by group tree? For example, I'm grouping on type which displays 1, 2, 3 etc. I'd like to display the descriptions behind the values, for example projects, enhancements, fixes etc.

To change the Group Tree you would need to change the grouping to the description rather than the code. Alternatively, you could group on a formula that concatenates the code and description (to show "1 - Projects") which is a simple way to preserve the group sort order.

Change Group --> Options --> Customize Group Name Field

You can select the database field that corresponds to the group value (sounds like this will work for you), or write a formula to display a custom description.
