We recently upgraded to Businessworks version 8.0 and Pervasive 9.61 and when we did our reports that are stored in Crystal Reports will no longer work. I keep getting this message:

ODBC error:[Pervasive][ODBC Client Interface][LNA][Pervasive][ODBC Engine Interface] unable to open table:ARCustomer

I need help finding out why my table won't open and/or what I need to do to add a new table to make my report work. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Thank you!

Is that a table that is standard in the BusinessWorks product?
If so, then it's possible that the BusinessWorks install overwrote some of your data.
Can you access the ARCustomer table through the Pervasive Control Center?
Do any other tables fail?

Yes this table is standard in BusinessWorks and I do get other tables that fail as well. I also get a database connector error that says that I am not authorized to perform the operation even though I'm logged in as MANAGER.

Also, I'm not sure what the Pervasive Control Center is or how to access it. I have very very limited knowledge of pervasive but if you tell me where it's at then I can see if I can access the table via the control center :)

Thanks for your help!

I'm not sure if BusinessWorks ships the Pervasive Control Center. The file name is PCC.EXE and should be in the same directory as the other PSQL files. You should be able to just run PCC.EXE from the Start | Run menu.

It is possible that MANAGER doesn't have rights to the tables you are trying to get to. The "admin" user for a PSQL database is "Master". I doubt you'll have that password though. I haven't worked much with BusinessWorks but I'd be surprised if they give you that access.

Did the upgrade to BusinessWorks 8 install newer Crystal DLL's? I would run a database verify in Crystal and see if that helps.
