The report is running on oracle 9.i and is written using crystal v.9. It contains a subreport which runs off a view, and the main report runs off a view. Has anyone seen this error before?

Need more info...

Does the report run without the subreport?

Does the subreport run on its own without the error...

Start there... after that we can explore more possibilities...

Also - what driver are you using for Oracle?

Could be numerous things.

Including the connectivity used. For instance you should be using Oracles Native connectivity in Crystal, or if ODBC, which is slower, use the Crystal supplied ODBC, Not Oracles.

You can also copy the SQL from each report for testing by using Database->Show SQL Query.
