Crystal Reports and Nortel Symposium Call Center

I'm using CR 8.5 and trying to create a report using two databases from Symposium Call Center. I can create the report using one database just fine but when I add a field from the second database CR locks up or displays grossly incorrect values. I have linked the two databases using the Visual Linking but nothing I do seems to work. Probably a simple oversite on my part. Anyone have any suggestions?
 
You indicated that you are linking two databases but are you really linking two tables within one database, the call center database?

In general you should link on fields of the same type.
What link options are you using?

I guess I'm not too sure on that. I have common tables linked with the visual linking expert but how do I know if they are actually linked? When I use the add new database I pick the two databases I need to pull data from and add them. Then the linking expert comes up with certain common fields linked. When I try and pull data from both CR has a fit. I know I am doing something wrong because CR is allpowerful and can do almost everything ;)
Any help would be great.
 
Where are the links attached to in each of the tables in the Visual linking expert?

When you added the new tables was there a box at the bottom of the window that said "Perform Smart Linking"? If so, and you did not delete the unneccessary links, it is possible that is your problem.

Do you know what fields need to be linked? (i.e. Timestamp to timestamp OR AgentId to AgentId)
