Hi,
I have created a cross to display open sales orders with products listed and by dates. the sales order qty is in the cross tab. however i want to add an additional column, as the first column, that displays the stock of that product on hand. so this piece of data is not already in the cross tab. can that be done?

Add the stock on hand as the first summary field in the crosstab. You should provide more specifics about the crosstab--the fields used for rows, columns, and summaries, and the type of summaries. Some sample data illustrating the crosstab might help also.

If the CrossTab has dates as columns, then the suggestion above would not work because a summary field would repeat for each column.

Simplest solution is to change the row element from just the Product Name to a formula that combines the formula name and the Stock on Hand (for that product). If alignment is important, using non-proportional font and some space padding, you could align the Stock On Hand figures.

Thanks for the comment, that last one worked.
