We have crystal reports running reports off certain SQL and Pervasive Databases, and there is a HUGE variation in the report response time (using ActiveX Viewer) One second the report will load in 3 seconds another it will load in 10 minutes. Is there any suggestions out there? Thank you in advance!

FYI To everyone I solved this internally. The Temp files for crystal reports use the default temp directory. I only had 4 gigs available on "C" so the drive would fill up, then go down. I moved the temp directory to the D: Drive with 200 gigs and the reports fly. Thank you for looking into this for me

Ok, I thought this problem was fixed, but now it is back ... There is still a huge variation in the response time on these reports. The webserver and the SQL are not processing anything when these reports are "thinking" in internet explorer. I am lost
