Crystal Reports 2008 development

I know they've dropped the RDC in Crystal Reports 2008, so I took my VB,Net project and tried to upgrade it to CR 2008. I've installed the run time files, but they don't seem to be available to my VB.Net Framework 1.0 project.

The Run time files install into a .Net 2.0 folder. Does that mean I can't continue to develop with the .Net 1.0 or 1.1 frameworks with the new version of Crystal?

CR 2008 supports .Net 1.1, 2.0, and 3.0.

We're getting better at writing these with every release, and the supported platforms docs for CR 2008 are very comprehensive.
