I just installed Crystal Reports 11. It is used to pull information from our Remedy Help Desk software that is running on Sybase using ODBC. The PC has Windows XP/SP2, with all the latest updates.

When attempting to refresh the data for reports, the following error is received: Database Connector Error: '220:Driver]Out of range {Database Vendor Code: 9011 ]

Does anybody have any ideas as to what this error means and how to resolve this issue?

Thank you in advance for any and all assistance you may be able to provide.

It sounds like an overflow error in the ODBC driver.

This may be a proprietary ODBC driver for Remedy, at any rate, I'd isolate which column(s) is causing the error.

It may be a certain type, or just that one thing is expected and another returned.

Also, does when refreshing data mean that it runs fine the first time, and only when you refresh you get the error?

I opened a new report, to get an answer to your question. As soon as I clicked on the Data Source, that same message comes up. So it's not just when I do a refresh on a report it is when it attempts to access the data source.

Try to use the Crystal menu option of
Database, Verify Database...

Visual CUT & DataLink Viewer:
view, e-mail, export, burst, distribute, and schedule Crystal Reports.

Thank you for the suggestion. Tried it and ended up getting the same error twice, instead of the one time.
