Crystal Reports 10.0 and Visual Basic 6.0 Report HELP!

One of our developers is having a problem with connecting Visual Basic 6.0 to a Crystal Report V 8.5 that's been migrated to version 10.0. The report works fine in Crystal Reports 10.0 but when he tries to connect to Visual Basic 6.0 he gets the following error message--"20525 Unable to open Report".

Does anyone have any suggestions that I can pass on?

It probably uses old dlls even version 10 dlls are installed. Your developer needs to remove old ones.

Has the report been saved as Crystal 10? It might still be Crystal 8.5, which Crystal 10 can read, but does not automatically convert to Unicode etc.

Thanks...I'm passing your comments on to the developers. They are going to install the older Crystal Reports 8.5 to see if that might help.

I'll keep you posted on the results...keep those ideas comin'!
