I have two subreports carried in two differnt tables. I want to combine the two reports into the main report and group by date. My problem is, is that subreport A may have dates the subreport B does not have and vice versa. If I could group by a parameter that would be great but doesn't look possible. How can I combine these two reports? I tried tieing with a excel spreadsheet with dates and it worked. But when I loaded it onto ACCPAC I received the logon failed error.

Help!!!!!!!!

You will need to create a date table, or use an existing table which has every date, and run you main report against that. This will give you a group header for each date.

YOu will then need to run each subreport for each day to give you the results you want.

Set subreport to suppress in no data, and suppress blank sections in main report.

I did that with an excel spreadsheet already and it worked great. After I did that I kept getting a logon failed in my crystal viewer(ACCPAC ERP). Maybe I should be focusing on the error message. I have read a lot of blogs and this seems to be an issue but the programing is over my head.

It will be the ACCPAC ERP, you will probably find that the reports embedded within the application can only connect to single datasource. YOu will need a table on the ACCPAC database which contains all dates.
