In trying to run Crystal Reports through Macola, the following errors are occurring:

1. Preview Report Error Message:

A Number, currency, amount, boolean, date, time, date-time, or string is expected here

A blank Crystal Viewer window is then opened.

2. Print Report Error Message:

Range/Table Mismatch
Range:
{IMDISFIL_SQL.Dist_Dt} in 20030928 to 20031101 AND {ISNULL{IMDISFIL_SQL.Int_Fg}} or {IMDISFIL_SQL.Int_Fg} = "or {IMDISFIL_SQL.Int_Fg} < 'Y'}
Tables: IMDISFIL_SQL, IMITMIDX_SQL, SYACTFIL_SQL

3. Export Report Error Message:

MacCROut.Execute -2147190909

Both Crystal and Macola reside on a Citrix Server, and are being accessed through a Desktop PC which runs a Citrix Program Neighborhood.

Any help or pointers in the right direction is greatly appreciated!!

Please double check that formula and make sure you postd it correctly. There is no way that there is a { character before the isnull() function. It should be a ( character.

Other than that, I see nothing wrong with your formula.

Which crystal report is this by the way ?

Yes, you're correct about the '{' character. I was sent a small screenshot of what the user saw, and it was difficult to make out certain characters.

The report is called "Distribution to G/L".

Thanks in advance for your assistance!!

As always, any help or pointers in the right direction is greatly appreciated!!

The only valid values in int_fg are Y and null. Therefore, if you want all records, interfaced or not, simply use the date range select. If you want only interfaced, use int_fg = 'Y'. If you want non-interface, choose int_fg <> 'Y'.

FYI: you can get this report out of generic macola by turning on the interfaced to GL flag or not when you run the IM distribution to GL report. If you elect to do your own distribution report, you must understand the significance of the first character in the file which identifies which type of GL transaction the record represents.

Verify that the crystal directory exists under the user's home directory\windows.
