Crystal Report Export to PDF

Hi When i export to PDF using crystal reports,the pdf is created with an extra blank page.
For some reason in the Report footer section the new page after is checked and is disabled.so i couldn't change the value.
Please help me out in this.

Make sure that you do not have ANY fields or objects in your RPT file that are over-lapping or beyond the margins/sheet.

When you have those over-lapping fields in XI or higher - it spawns extra-blank pages when viewed on-line or via PDF.

No,i don't have any overlapping elements.Thre is some other problem which i could not figure out.
The problem should be in the details section i think.

Which Crystal? It helps to give your version, 8, 8.5, 9, 10, 11 or whatever. Methods sometimes change between versions, and higher versions have extra options.

Please explain more, that sounds like the cause but I can't see why it won't let you change. Check if there is some value for the formula icon (x+2 and a pencil).

Note that you can insert sections using right-click. Also delete them.

My crystal report version is 10.2.
Also i don't have any extra sections.Now i unchecked the new page after check box and now i have added a formula in new page after of details section as
@Details = 5.

I have only one record in the pdf and then also it prints the extra page with character "|".

Sorry, what are you trying to do? If you don't want the extra page, why the formula?

S i don't want the extra page.But i was trying to see if it
is creating the extra page when i didn't fix the no of rows
in details section.But even that didn't work out.
I don't know how to solve this.

...are you 100% sure that this is ONLY happening when you export to PDF?

Try putting the Page X of Y value in the page footer, running as RPT - then export to PDF. What do you see for the X of Y values at each step of the process?
