Crystal Reports Pro 11.0.0.1282
Windows 7
report uses Access 2000 database located on same machine

Report has run for years without a problem.
Suddenly, it can't make dynamic lists of values for a parameter prompt
Error code is 8004380D

Reinstalled Crystal and Access and re-booted

I have made a new sample db and get the same error with the dynamic lists.

On web, I have read many 'solutions' and tried them all. No change.
(Turn off Windows Firewall, replace several DLLs, etc.)

I read about workarounds (prompts in commands, run a LOV at off hours) . I would like to solve this problem.

So what has changed? Any thoughts?

Aha!
I forgot I had installed Ido Millet's excellent UFL, CUTLight.

The last page of the manual reads:
Crystal XI suffers from an issue (ADAPT00755322) leading to a termination of Crystal when running a report that uses dynamic parameters on a machine that also has a UFL installed. If you are using Crystal XI and reports with dynamic parameters, you should not install UFLs until Business Objects resolves this issue.

So I'll update to Crystal and see what happens.
