Crystal remove Blank space into a field under the line .

why the Crystal removes the final space in a record with several lines.

ex:

in the details :
string : hi my name is crystal reports
i'm not a perfect program.
{ blank line }
{ blank line }


The crystal take this string and not respect de keyReturn blank line.it appears thath it only takes a Trim ( string)

If i had a string like that :

String : hi my name is crystal reports
i'm not a perfect program.
{ blank line }
{ blank line }
But you need me

it respects the blank lines.

i am using crystal xi without updates, and do not experience this when i have blobs of text in a memo field.
If i have blank lines, they appear without regard to if there is text following them.

i have crystal reports X1 release 2 .. i installed Crystal reports 2008 to see if i had the same problem , And again the same thing was happening . I work with access database !!! MemoField !!!

i just tested this using a memo field in a MS access table and received the exact results you described.
It appears that Access is 'auto-trimming' the data.

ok, one more thing. if i go into access and change the 'Text Format' to Rich Text and then in Crystal, change the 'Text interpretation' on the Paragraph tab of the 'Format Editor' for the field, from 'none' to 'HTML Text' the spaces are preserved.
