I have a Crystal report that generates a university transcript that also has a cover letter with address for mailing. [The cover letter is generated from a subreport within the main Crystal report.] Both the cover letter and transcript print on preprinted transcript stock paper fed from the same printer tray. I would like to be able to feed standard 20 lb white bond paper from one tray for the cover letter and feed preprinted transcript paper for the transcript. Does anyone know how to "tell" the Crystal to print the subreport (cover letter) from one paper tray and the other part (transcript) from another paper tray? Any tips or information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, InKansas.

I've a feeling that Crystal doesn't support anything so complex. But there is a work-round you might find useful.

Run the report twice, in two different 'modes', supressing either the cover letter or the transcript. You could control this using a parameter, or use 'Save As' to create two similar versions.

Unfortunately, Crystal doesn't let you specify which print tray you wan your printout to come from. I've found that Crystal will use the default printer settings for the PC you're working from.
