Crystal + Oracle 10g pulling up a list of tables

Has anyone else had this same issue with Crystal pulling up the list of tables in an oracle database.

Ever since our vendor upgraded to 10g it takes 8-15 minutes to pull up the list of tables.

Hi,
Howe many tables are there..Even several hundred ( or several thiousand) should only take a few minutes ( of even seconds).

Can you post the SQL code produced by Crystal for that report?

Have you tried using a Command instaad of adding the data dictionary tables/views to the report?
One like:

  SELECT
      TABLE_NAME
   FROM
      ALL_TABLES

To Paraphrase:"The Help you get is proportional to the Help you give.."

There are 2806 tables in this database.

This 8-15 minute changed when they upgraded from 9 to 10.

Oh and this is just pulling up the list of tables in the Crystal tree of tables, not even running a command.

Commands run at an acceptable speed. Its loading the tree view in Crystal that is so slow.
