I created a few reports under Crystal Reports Professional and compiled them. I'm able to run them perfectly, but a user in Crystal Info in not able to run them. Upon double clicking the .exe, an hour glass appears and vanishes. Apparently the OS is laughing at me. I just read in this forum that Crystal Info does not have a compile feature, does that imply that it will not run them as well? [sig][/sig]

I believe that it can't run the exe because the exe needs CRPE32.dll and Infouses CIPE instead of CRPE and has other DLL differences. I have been told that if you install Crystal Reports on an Info PC (even the distribuion files for compiled reports, that you can disable the printing and exporting of Info reports.

But, the user should be able to open the report and run it from within the Info environment (assuming the connections are available).

Of course Info is only up to V7, so you may need to save an 8 report in 7 format [sig]
Ken Hamady- href= Reports Training by Ken Hamady
[/sig]

I have a compiled crystal report (version 8.5)

How can I stop it from prompting for the ODBC login/password when a user executes it?
