Crystal help needed in asp

I have a crystal report that needs to be run when you pass it a date range from an asp page. The selection criteria for this is formed in the asp page itself. The report has a subreport in it which has the selection formula for itself hardcoded in the subreport.

IS there any way I can get the subreport to also execute at runtime like the mailn report? Basically pass on the criteria for the subreport from the asp page itself? Thanks in advance for your help.

You can use parameters to passon the value to the sub-report.
IF the parameters to be used for the main report and sub are similar then link them in crystal reports that way whatever value u passin the main report will be taken by the sub report as well.
