Crystal Graph by Month with Null Data

I have a number of graphs created and grouped by Support incident, reason code and month. I need to be able to add a 0 value for those months that do not have support incidents. I know that I can create a new calendar table but that is not an option for me. Would anyone have another idea to do this within the crystal report?

What version of Crystal, database/connectivity, and how are you returning data to the report?

Sorry, Crystal 8.5. Data is coming from SQL tables through a CRM system (Pivotal)
