Hi everyone,

I have a question in Crystal reports in writing up the formula, please help me out !!

There are different Claim Status (field nm : clm_status) like 'Active' , 'Pending' , 'Closed' etc

And I have a date called Payment date ( pmt_dt).

I have to show up the Claim status with Maximum Payment date for each record in the report.

Can anyone help me in writing the formula for this scenario.

Thanks

I am not sure what you mean by record (Patient ID?).
You could group by Payment Date, show the status in the GF. That will have the max Payment Date.

I hope this helps.

Thanks for your reply.

each record means for each Claim number .

I have to group by the Claim number.

For each Claim number, it should show up the Claim status for Maximum pay ment date

I am not thinking clearly. You can sort by Payment Date (ascending, inside the claim group), thus the max payment date should the last record in the group. You can hide the details and show the status.
