Hi,

reports are developed in CR 10 ,we have an option in our .net application for the user to add a new report to the crystal enterprise server 10 and view it through crystal report viewer in .NET . we are able to successfully add the report to the CE server , but later When trying to view it prompts for database credentials.
Now how can i save database password in the report.so That CE would use these default credentials after publshing
and also How can I keep 'Prompt the user for database logon when viewing' unchecked under Process/Database Tab when the new report is added.

The credentials are not saved with the report, you'll need to set the values through the .net application as well.

Note that the Crystal Report designer does NOT save the credentials, so there isn't anything to inherit except the database and user, the password is not saved.

Not sure exactly what the api exposes for this, but this looks promising:
