Crystal Enterprise and Notes SMTP mail

I'm trying to get the Enterprise SMTP to send to my Notes SMTP mail gateway.

The Notes server log shows that the Enterprise server is connecting but I get no messages sent.

In the CMC, the report has failed with the error message

"address error. CrystalEnterprise.Smtp: (501)"

Has anyone managed to get Enterprise to work with Notes?
 
Sounds as if the address you are sending is invailed. Ensure that it's a valid account and password. In the destination setup, I had to leave off the domain in the user id field. That correct my problem.

Oh, ensure that your domain is correct. When I setup mine, I used our standard domain, but found out that I had to place the word internal in front of it. Check with your mail admin to ensure.
 
I've sorted it now - it was the sender address that was wrong (not fully qualified) rather than the recipient address.
