We have an app that uses Crystal runtime dll's that we're trying to run in a Citrix environment. When multiple users run reports at the same time, we get "unexpected" results. The vendor has introduced a locking mechanism to eleveate the problem, but now only one user at a time can run a report. Is this a common problem and does it have a known solution other than the locking mechanism?

Thanks.

I have users running my DataLink Viewer under Citrix/Terminal Server and haven't received any reports on such behavior.

Is it possible the application you are using is based on older runtime components?

Is it possible the problem is with the ODBC setup or the DBMS setup (concurrent data access restrictions)?

CUT, Visual CUT, and DataLink Viewer:
view, e-mail, export, burst, distribute, and schedule Crystal Reports.

We had a problem with Citrix/Terminal Services and Crystal 8 Runtime where a client station would start a report and after a page or 2 drop out completely. We had to upgrade to Crystal 9 to solve the problem.
