crystal & firebird

hi,

i'm trying to use a firebird stored procedure in a crystal report and i'm getting the following error message:

"Query Engine Error:HY000ynamic SQL Error
parameter mismatch for procedure <procedure name>

Database Expert dialog ---> ODBC (RDO) ---> Firebird (it's an ODBC connection i made for the firebird database; the connection test is ok) ---> sysdba/masterkey ---> stored procedure.

then i choose a stored procedure and try to send it to &quot;Selected tables&quot;. crystal reports shows a Parameter Field dialog where i should inform their values. but i've noticed the parameters shown are &quot;OUTPUT&quot; parameters in the stored procedure. crystal doesn't show the &quot;INPUT&quot; parameters.

i'm sorry about my english.

What version of Crystal are you using?

When you write a report, do you click on new report, standard, database, ODBC, and then choose the ODBC DSN that you created?

If not please explain how you are writing a new report.

I suspect that you'll need to rewrite the SP, though I've never worked on Firebird.

BTW, Firebird is based on the open source Interbase.

file ---> new ---> blank report ---> ODBC (RDO)
