We created a custom font to display logos and it is installed on the crystal reports server. The logo shows up fine on the server side but the problem lies with clients using the active-x viewer. The viewer will not display the custom font -- I assigned 'l' to display the logo but the report just displays the 'l' and not the logo. Again, on the server when you run the report, the logo shows up fine. I need help please

Hi there,

Did you solve this problem ? I´m having the same problem with Crystal 10 !

Thanks for your help,

No, sure didn't -- Started talking to crystal support, answers by email, and it ends up being a problem with crystal enterprise since thats what handles the unmanaged URL calls. We didn't have anymore free support sessions for Crystal Enterprise so it would cost money and I guess my boss thinks it isnt that important because I havn't heard back from him on the issue.

You will need to install the custom font on each of the client PC's rather than the server.

No that is not the solution it is a problem with crystal enterprise.

did you at least try this solution ?

Whilst the reports are served through CE I think you'll find that any fonts used in the report need to be installed on the clients PC

Of course i tried it, I had the font on my local machine and the server. Crystal said it was a problem with the unamanged-URL reporting in CE.
