I've just upgraded from Crystal 8 to 8.5 (and gone on to Windows 2000) and have noticed that when I go to open a Crystal Report, some of them are listed in black type and some in blue.

It might be something obvious, but can anyone explain why this is?

Thanks

More than likely this has to do with NTFS rights on the machine.

If you can open them all, I think the blue are private to yourself and the black are public.

you could check the properties > security to see

Got Crystal Ease?

Thanks, but it actually turned out to be related to compressed files, there was an option in Windows Explorer to display them in a different colour.
