crviewer / crystal report control

which one of these would require crystal reports to be on my computer.
 
Not real sure what you're asking, but here's my take on what you're saying...

If what you're saying is that you want to install a report on a user's machine, and you want to know what files need to be installed at a minimum for that user to run the report, then the Viewer is the way to go.

If you want to program stuff in your favorite language,then the CR Control is the way to go.

When you install Crystal Dev 8.5, you get both installed on your local hard drive.
