i have an ldk 100 asmu1e GS-90P 3.3A cpu card that crushed when a collegue tried to upgrade the firmware to 30P-39Da using ldk pcadmin version C.5Ad 2005.06.03
according to his report the upgrade started off just fine and completed but the cpu card never came out of the upgrading sequence. Leds LD1 to LD4 were continuously on and after about 30 minutes he switched the system off the back on. now the card is not switching on at all.
Question 1, is there a way to recover it and
Question 2, where did he go wrong with the upgrade?

dont jump from a early version straight to the latest version . you will need to stagger your upgrades . its a pain in the bum i know .

no way of recovering it that i know of. you might be able to do it via serial lead if you can connect to it that way and some one knows the commands

hie martin. so are you saying that from your experience the botched upgrade can not be undone or reversed?[sad]

where are you based ? we do send stuff off to get recovered or repaired from time to time . to a specialist company . im sure some one with the know how and tools could possibly recover it .
