Cross-tabs - removing row subtotal Crystal 8.5

I'm wondering if there is a way to remove a total row in a cross-tab in Crystal? I have suppressed the text which I can live with but I would prefer to not have the blank cells showing at all.

More specifically, I want to show the date field but I do not want to subtotal by this field.

In the customize style tab, select the row in the upper left area->check "suppress subtotal". In 8.5, I think you actually have to select a different row to make the suppress subtotal option available, so try each row until you have the option of suppressing.
