In Cross tab for heading i want to put a background color

if i am doing color for Total Column & Cross Tab Column color is there only for label not for whole square box

Not sure what you mean. If you just want the headings a certain color, select the heading->format field->change border->background->select a color.

if i go like this only heading will be having color,
and all four side of heading lable will have white color

i want whole heading section with particular color

In order to do this, you need to eliminate the cell margins, which gives the display a bit of a cramped look. Go into the crosstab expert->customize style tab and uncheck "Show cell margins".
