cross-tab format - cr11 2

I have a cross tab report that works for me except when I pass it on it needs to have labels for each of the rows that repeat for each row. There are four sums in each row and I want the labels for each of the sums to repeat in each row cell. Can't figure out how to attach a file so this example shows that Row # is the data and the Text# is the label I want for each of the repeating total rows.

Row 1 Text1
text2
text3
text4
Row 2 this is where I want the repeats of the text.

this is what i would like

Row 1 Text1
text2
text3
text4
Row 2 Text1
text2
text3

Row Text1

If your columns are fixed ie in this case only two and can be defined, use a manual cross tab.

create formulae that define your columns

@col1
if condition1 = true than field1 else 0

@col2
if condition2 = true than field1 else 0


Place these in details and suppress details.

Create group based on your Row condition, add summary of above formulae in group footers.

YOu can then add a text box into the group footer which is repeated. Or text can conditionally change depending on group.

Go to the customize style tab->summarized fields->vertical->check "show labels."

Thanks lbass, that is exactly what I needed, I was not quite sure what Ian was leading to.
