Is it possible to create a view that spans 2 DBC's?

Sure. A view is just a SQL SELECT statement. It can reference any tables you like, regardless of DBC -- even free tables. The only caveat is that it must be able to physcically locate the tables.

... using the myDatabase!mytable syntax to specify which database the table comes from.
