Cross browser/system compatibility

I am having a problem with the Mac version of IE 5.x. It appears to be displaying &quot;<br>'s&quot; when it shouldn't. The page works fine in IE and netscape on a windows machine and fine in netscape 4.72 on the mac. Any ideas?

I don't use the Mac myself, but it is a possiblity that it has to be XHTML compatible. Try changing your <br> to <br /> both are an acknowledge form of HTML.
