Hi,
We set our server to change time at 03:30AM.
We also have user who set their scripts at 03:30AM in their cron.
The jobs did not run.
Any reason why?

Thanks

If you have your TZ set properly, you don't need to cron a time change.

Most unixes, including AIX, run on unmodified GMT. The TZ setting reflects the rules by which that is *displayed*, and includes Daylight Savings Time.

If you actually changed your system's time (you should not need to), then it's possible that those jobs got skipped because the time they were supposed to run never occurred.

We did not cron a time change.
Our Daylight Saving Time is set at 03:30:00.
It just that a user scheduled his job AT the time change.
i.e. 03:30

hi,

if your server time changed the time when your script was suppose to run, thats why your script didn't run
