CRM Sample Data Install Problems

Hello!
I have installed MS CRM and applied the License Key, which has given me the Sales and Service modules. However when I try to install the sample data I get the message:

You do not have 5 Microsoft CRM Suite Profressional licenses available. For more information, contact your system administrator.

I've also tried creating the sample users Stefan Del Marco etc, allocating the licenses and using them in the import wizard, but I still get the same message.

Restore my faith in CRM!

I've moved forward slightly with this problem by deallocating the licenses from my five users. However I used existing domain users and I got the message:

<Domain\User> is already a CRM User. Please make sure that this user has any role and license required by the Demo Scenario. The wizard will attempt to continue.

Unfortunately the wizard continues but falls over at the end of the upload. When you run it again it tells you that it can be only run once and you need to re-install CRM before running it again.
Has anyone else encountered these problems? Do you have a fix without having to re-install CRM?

Its pretty easy to install the sample data. You get 6 licenses free to try with the sample company. You only need to assign the admin user who installed crm a license. Then create 5 other new users in AD on the same domain. Then do not do anything with the 5 users in CRM. Then run the wizard for the 5 new users. Usually people add license to the users before running the wizard which is wrong. The wizard will add the remaining 5 licenses to the users during the wizard setup.
