critical process within the Mitel 3300 Controller

Hi all, I am new to this forum, so I hope somebody can help. We have X4 3300 Controllers with release version 5.1.4.8

I had an unexpected Critical alarm on Friday afternoon. the error logs showed me the task "CCC_Ipsw" was suspended. Mitel have mentioned an upgrade to 5.2.6.8 ,

should we go down this path?

The logical thing would be to upgrade, as later versions usually have a few bug fixes and product enhancements that might just resolve your issues.
