I'm working on a 3300 version 7.1 PR1 that has been rebooting itself intermittently. There are logs in the system that I'm hoping someone can help me understand. The first log shows up just before the system reboots. It has happened 4 times over the last two months: "Critical Alarm being raised upon detecting the following task suspended: ethTask 0x459fb80". This critical alarm causes the system to reboot to recover "ethTask", whatever that is. There are no log entries preceding this log that are out of the ordinary. Has anyone seen this log before or have an idea of what might be causing "ethTask" to suspend?
There is one other log entry that may or may not be related to the reboots but still worries me a bit. There are 16 of these entries over the last month. One example of this log is: "Audio Quality Report -- E2T ch 198 Received Audio from 2 IP Devices 192.X.X.X and 184.X.X.X". The first IP address is always a 53XX series IP phone on the network. The second IP address is usually a public IP address that is not associated with this site, a few are local PCs on the network, and a couple are unassigned IPs like 241.51.X.X and 248.220.X.X. My first concern is the public IPs which are registered in places like Indonesia, France, India etc. I also don't know why local PCs would be accessing ET2 resources as we have no CTI type apps (that I know about) installed on the network.
Has anyone seen this log before or have an idea of what might be generating the log?
Thanks all,
