Creatuive Broadband 8133u not being recognised

Hi everyone, Just wondering if someone could help me out here:
I have a Creatuive Broadband 8133u but its not being recognised by my family computer. BUT, it IS being recognised by MY computer. i really need this to work with the Family computer because im linking it to a wireless router so i can have wireless internet for myself....

I was thinking there was a fault with the USB ports, but i tried them all, no luck.
And i tried installing the drivers before I plug in the modem but its impossible, it says in the manual that you have to plug the modem in and use the Windows XP new hardware wizard, which just wont come up for me when i plug it in.

Any ideas anyone?

Do other USB devices work in the USB ports?
If not, then there's a problem with the ports.
Make sure they're enabled in BIOS, they're listed in Device Manager, and they have no problems showing in Dev. Mgr.

If the USB ports work with other devices, then see of connecting the modem to the network card with the network cable works.

Ye everything works ok, i got the Modem working ok now, BUT i have another problem with it, when i type in the the addy to configure it, it comes up, page cannot be displayed

Any Ideas??
